Why I'm walking to World Arthritis Day
Hi, I'm Elliott, and I was diagnosed with psoriatic arthritis in 2021. Living with this condition affects my joints, mobility, and everyday life. Some days, the pain and fatigue can be overwhelming, making even simple tasks difficult. But I’ve decided not to let arthritis define who I am or what I can do.
That’s why this year, I’m taking part in the Walk to World Arthritis Day. From October 1st to October 12th, I’ll be walking 12,000 steps each day. I’m doing this not only to challenge myself physically but to raise awareness about the impact of arthritis and to raise funds for research and support services.
I’m determined to keep moving forward, despite the challenges, and every step is a step toward greater awareness and understanding of this condition.
You are both awesome😍
