Why I'm walking to World Arthritis Day

I am raising money for Versus Arthritis by taking on Walk to World Arthritis Day.

This is my own personal challenge to support the lives of those living with arthritis in the UK. Versus Arthritis won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.

Your donations will fund world class research, high quality services and campaigns that matter most to people with arthritis.

Thursday 29th Aug
Hi, I am Soo and I have osteo arthritis. I have had this in excess of 20yrs. Lily is 23 and has never known me to be pain free. My dad suffered for many years too.
My arthritis goes from my neck to my toes. I curi use crutches to get about and I am on morphine twice day and regular paracetamol. I try not to let it impede on life, but sometimes it does. I am currently  waiting for a right knee replacement .
I have set this walk as a challenge, not sure how I will do, but will give it my best shot. I am going to commit to at least 1000 steps, if I am able I will do more . I appreciate any support given xxx
