Why I'm walking to World Arthritis Day

I am raising money for Versus Arthritis by taking on Walk to World Arthritis Day.

This is my own personal challenge to support the lives of those living with arthritis in the UK. Versus Arthritis won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.

Your donations will fund world class research, high quality services and campaigns that matter most to people with arthritis.

Before i start this challenge in October, I will fill you in, i was diagnosed with inflammatory arthritis in 2011 at the age of 24, since then it has been changed to rheumatoid arthritis. The only part of my body that doesn't have it is my shoulders. I push through pain, swelling and exhaustion every day and am on steroid injections and medication for the foreseeable future. I try not to let it get the better of me and keep moving as much as the pain and swelling will let me.
