Why I'm walking to World Arthritis Day

I am raising money for Versus Arthritis by taking on Walk to World Arthritis Day.

This is my own personal challenge to support the lives of those living with arthritis in the UK. Versus Arthritis won’t rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.

Your donations will fund world class research, high quality services and campaigns that matter most to people with arthritis.

rhymatoid arthritis at 27

Saturday 28th Sep
At 27, being diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis I thought my life was over.  The advice from my consultant was give up your job, no physical activity and watch what I eat. And with the type I have my future was a wheelchair. After lots and lots of tears I decided it wasn't me to just sit back and do nothing. So lots of research and asking for a different consultant I have done everything I can to keep my job so much so I now do 2 jobs. I have a beautiful little girl Fern she is now 5. I exercise regularly I do have to work hard at keeping my weight down but that's ok. Life is good and I won't give up. Am I in pain everyday yes but I won't let arthritis win 💪😍
