Royal Parks Half Marathon

I'm fundraising for...

Thanks for visiting my fundraising page for my Royal Parks Half Marathon!

I'm running for Arthritis UK because this cause is deeply personal to me. Inspired by my mother who has lived with rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis since she was 19 years old, I've grown up seeing first-hand the daily impact arthritis has — the pain, the endless medication, the plans that have to be adjusted, but also the incredible strength and determination it takes to keep going. She's now on her third biologic medicine, the cutting edge of arthritis treatment, and she faces every day with more bravery than most people will ever need. She's my inspiration for lacing up my trainers and taking on this challenge.

Over 10 million people in the UK live with arthritis, affecting their ability to work, study, care for family, move free from pain and live independently. Yet arthritis remains poorly understood and far too little is done. Most people don't realise that unlike many other conditions, arthritis is for life — there is no remission, no finish line. My mother knows that better than anyone.

That's why Arthritis UK funds life-changing research, supports those affected and campaigns for change. Arthritis UK won't rest until everyone with arthritis has access to the treatments and support they need to live the life they choose, with real hope of a cure in the future.

Every donation, no matter how small, makes a difference. Thank you so much for your support — truly, it means the world to me!
